The error says that the server can't be found. If you turn of the AV, as
Frank Saunders suggests, and still can't get connected, you may need to work
with your employer's IT Dept. It could be that they are restricting access
to port 110 on remote IP addresses beyond your computer, but with your
employer's network. Not a hard thing to do. I could block port 110 out with
my router, with the exception of the one computer running Mercury Mail to
fetch from the POP3 accounts. The only way that other LAN connected
computers could then access email would be through port 110 on the LAN to my
computer.
