dear microsoft
I am utterly disgusted with your operating system
i have used it for several years and find it
infuriatingly slow awkard and bug ridden
I was trying to set up two modems on one machine in order
to marginally increase the infuriatingly slow progress
that telephone modems make of any download and i stumbled
upon the mulitlink part of windows 98
This feature does not work
the internet service providers do not support this feature
without this feature and amr modem in a K7VZA Ecs via
mainboard is unusable
YOUR OWN CUSTOMER COMPLAINT SERVIE IS UNUSABLE
THE ENTIRE INTERNET IS SIMPLY A CON TO KEEP PEOPLE
CONECTED FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE
WINDOWS XP cannot even rotate a 56k jpg image through 90
degrees on a 2.6ghz pentium 4 without creating an
undeleteable temporary file!
Your software is abysmal and your websites are a disgrace.
Maplin electronics in the uk are also offering no
customer service what soever
Micro Star Inernational have illegal disclaimers with
regard to there software products bundled with their
nvidia geforce 4 graphics card (VTD mx 440 agp 8x 64mb
ddr) which also do not perform as per the advertising the
card is incapable of digitising tv input to mpeg II
format no does the software supplied with it fundtion
properly nor is it of a high standard
the live bios program encourages people to cause £100
pounds sterling worth of damage to their machines tand
then neither the repair company nor MSI are capable of
communicating or accepting responsibility for the damage
the repair company in particular maplin electronics -
quite happy to sell so called amr 56kbps modems which
never connect to the internet above 40kbps and dowload at
200bytes per second this they claim is NORMAL so when i
tried to install two modems and two phone lines imagine
my surprise when the multilink feature in win98 does not
work nor would any uk isp
virgin net aol ukonline tiscali support such a
connection - pity really as with a high speed uart 16650
and two v32 modems according to a hardware manual each
modem should be capapble of connecting at 234kbps
furthermore the K7VZA main board advertised by maplin
electronics as capable of running a 1.5ghz athlon
thunderbird through their easy upgrade ability which all
the staff claimed though when i asked for such an upgrade
they all laughed and said it was impossible and that the
maximum processor was a1.2ghz athlon
(this was after they had clamped my car and forced me to
pay £50 pounds sterling to unclamp it)
Along with 2 socket 7 main boards which are imposible to
upgrade as there is no information regarding the voltage
regulation modules available on the internet
(intel 430tx and vx the vx has an l2 cache socket and a
30pin vrm for which i have no instructions with regard to
lowering the voltage in order to insert a pentium mmx
chip nor what the maximum speed is though the bus speeds
are 60mhz 66mhz and 75/55mhz there is a three times
multiplier available
the tx board came with an instruction *** claiming it
would run a k6 266 mhz chip i purchasde a k6 2 266 mhz
and cant get it to run at all.
