You'll have to wait for someone with a better opinion. 0x800ccc0d &
0x800ccc0f errors are usually caused by e-mail scanning. I have never
heard of anyone running Norton &
McAfee at the same time which may cause problems. There are also
Comcast issues. So hang in there for another idea.

It's very possible that your existing identity may have some registry corruption and creating a new identity creates all new registry keys for that identity (in effect, giving you an fresh, clean setup of Outlook Express). ...
