Hi there
Yes there is another way to import your files without going through your import export tab.
On your pc make sure that you can see all files including hidden & system files, then go to documents & settings, your current profile name eg "frank" , local settings, application data , identities, it will then have folder or multiple folder with similar description eg {C66EE5AE-E007-4C0A-A43D-2FC5EC7C71FF} , Microsoft, outlook express. Your files inside that folder will be your mail inbox outbox etc, if you delete all of the files as soon as you reopen outlook express it will recreate all the files necessary to restart from scratch , the same applies if you delete all files and copy your existing files into the folder when you open OE all your mail should be there. Your address book is in another folder but that is easy enough to just import.
I hope this helps you
Good Luck
Jose
