Are you saying that Control Panel/Add REmove Programs does not have an entry
for "Outlook Express Q837009?" Did you use the /n switch during the install
of the upgrade? Was an antivirus program running during the install of the
upgrade?

What info do you show for the file versions on the property sheets of the
following files? Do they agree with the following?

   Date Time Version Size File name Platform
   ----------------------------------------------------------------------
   03-Mar-2004 21:53 6.00.2739.300 595,968 Inetcomm.dll X86
   13-Mar-2003 23:03 6.00.2720.3000 1,175,040 Msoe.dll X86
