The 0x800ccc0e message indicates a failure to connect. It may be related to
attempts to send mail via a server that you did not download the message
from or a failure to send a POP request before sending (called POP before
SMTP). You might ask your admin people at work if they are blocking
external connections such as yours from sending mail and you may have to
modify your account info to send mail via your work's SMTP server.
