Hello Jim,
Thank you for your continued interest in solving my problem.
First some housekeeping issues. I try VERY hard to be a good usenet
citizen and your comments confuse me. I did mention my O/S (W2K) and
SP version (SP4) in my original post. I know with all the help you
provide many many folks it might have been easy to miss. Also, could
you please tell me why you feel I was "piggy backing" ?? This entire
thread is mine. Start to finish. Am I missing something here? I have
gone to other groups (in sequence, not multiposting) to seek their
advice. Now, to get to your suggestion ....
I did a search on atl.dll. There is only one version in
WINNT/system32 of size 74KB. It is dated June of 03. Is it still your
advice to replace this file with only one instance present? If so,
I'll try SFC.
