Hello Jim,

Thank you for your continued interest in solving my problem.

First some housekeeping issues. I try VERY hard to be a good usenet
citizen and your comments confuse me. I did mention my O/S (W2K) and
SP version (SP4) in my original post. I know with all the help you
provide many many folks it might have been easy to miss. Also, could
you please tell me why you feel I was "piggy backing" ?? This entire
thread is mine. Start to finish. Am I missing something here? I have
gone to other groups (in sequence, not multiposting) to seek their
advice. Now, to get to your suggestion ....

I did a search on atl.dll. There is only one version in
WINNT/system32 of size 74KB. It is dated June of 03. Is it still your
advice to replace this file with only one instance present? If so,
I'll try SFC.

Thanks again.
