Hey there PA Bear... I always like to post details because I know that's the
only way to get things solved. Plus I've been around the networking
newsgroups helping with my limited knowledge and I always ask for that...
details.

Anyway, thanks for your prompt answer... I'm still looking at those links
although I do have an extra question. When I got my computer I disabled
Windows Messenger editing the registry as explained on this MS knowledge
base article:
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;EN-US;q302089 --- If I
were to try editing the registry as described on here:
http://insideoe.tomsterdam.com/problems/performance.htm#slowstart -- would
it matter that I edited the registry as explained on the first article?

I mean, should I un-do the entries done by the first article in order to use
the entries on the second article? When it comes to the registry I really
don't know that much. I'll provide with updates as I keep reading and
researching... thanks again!!!

AC
