Are you seeing a number beside the Inbox folder name, or is this a message
at the bottom of the O.E. window? If at the bottom, that unread message
could be in another folder, such as Deleted Items. Do you have any message
rules in effect that could move a new message to a different folder? I'd
look in the other folders for that message.
