In my NAV options, the boxes you mention determine which messaging programs
will be protected by NAV, not whether they run or not. I'll be interested in
knowing whether the things you've done make a difference. In my NAV, I have
Windows Messenger checked, but WM does not start automatically, nor do I get
any messages telling me to upgrade it, unless I manually start WM. Very
interesting.
