Outlook Express Problem...

Hello, I have been using Outlook Express with my cable internet for a while
now and this is the 1st time I've had this problem. It started out that I
went to check my e-mail, like normal, and the first 7 messages loaded fine,
then the 8th wouldn't and still won't load. It says "Receiving mail...",
and the 8th message just won't go. It has happened before, but then it
says, there has been a possible virus found, or whatever, and I just disable
the virusscan, get the mail, then enable it again, and it works perfectly
fine. But, I tried that this time, and no luck. Anybody else had a problem
like this? Any suggestions? Thanks in advance.
