Help to fix problems with myt outlook express e-mailing program...

I am looking for someone who can walk me through, step by
painstakingly slow step, the process I'll need to use to
resolve the problems identified below. you'll want to
know I'm only on page 6 of my 'dumbies' book for
beginners!!! My problems are as follows:

I am receiving my outlook express e-mails OK, but- when i
try to access
> my
> address book, or 'create mail' or to simply reply to an
existing
> e-mail
> from others - I get a small window telling me "this
program has
> performed an illegal operation and will be shut down"
followed by
> (on
> the lower part of the window...) "if the problem
persists, contact
> the
> program vendor." The word 'close' appears in a smaller
box to the far
> right of the 1st message, and, the word 'details'
appears in a
> smaller
> box to the far right of the 2nd message.

I am hoping someone can tell me how to correct the
problems described above so I can utilize all features
available in my outlook express e-mailing program!

I WOULD ALSO LIKE TO TALK TO ANYONE WHO LIVES IN MY LOCAL
AREA SO I COULD WORK WITH THEM ONE ON ONE TO FURTHER
IMPROVE MY COMPUTERING SKILLS. ANYONE WHO WOULD BE
