One way you could do this
is... create the stationery and include the 'generic text' then send the
whole email to yourself only.
When you get it in your
inbox... then copy it to a folder of your choice or your draft folder
> Right click on the highlighted email/ select 'copy to folder'... from the
menu choose the folder you want to save it in / OK and you have your email
to use.
When you want to reply you
will have to , (you'll need to be in Rich Text--- Tools/Options/Send and
put the dot in front of 'Rich Text'...)
Open the saved email and click forward then just change the subject or whatever you need to change and put the receivers address in the to: and Send it.
Open the saved email and click forward then just change the subject or whatever you need to change and put the receivers address in the to: and Send it.
Your original email will
remain in the folder to use over and over again.
Another thing you could do
is... write your text message in a small enough 'BOX' type
....
then take a screen shot of
your text... with the text all visible/ click the [prt scr] button on your
keyboard/ open your image viewer/(I use Irfanview but paint or others will
do) / click edit/ click paste/ and the whole screen will show...Draw
a box around the text so you'll have a picture of the text / click the
Edit on the very top of the page of the image viewer/ click 'crop
selection/ then click File/ Save As/ and put it in a picture
file on your hard drive/
Then when you 'reply to an
email (reply in Rich Text) You only need to 'Insert
Picture'
navigate to your file of
the text and Insert it into the reply email...

Hi everyone and thank you in
anticipation of any help that may be forthcoming !!!
This is my first time use of the group so I hope I get it right !!??
My OS is Win98SE / OE 6.00 and I have been trying to create my own
stationary with no success !!
I selected a default stationary by using path ...
Tools/Options/Compose/create New
... and following the steps in the Stationary Wizard.
The next step I wanted was to have two versions of the stationary with a
standard ( fairly lenghthy !! ) "reply" message for my customer enquiries
.... to save me having to re-write this text everytime I send a reply
.... so I created a new mail, added my text then instead of sending it,
"saved as - My Stationary "and "saved as stationary" ( both in the Microsoft
Shared - Stationary file ) but neither of these steps worked !!! .... What
was saved was just the stationary but not my text message ??
** This is obviously not the right way to "create stationary" but can't work
out what is the right way ! Have successfully saved a copy to the "drafts"
folder from which I can cut & paste ( but not copy !! ..... it reverts to
Times Roman font, not the customised font that goes with the Stationary ) but
when I have to answer sometimes 30 - 50 mails per day this is VERY time
consuming !!
Hope someone out there can help me ??? Thanks in anticipation !!
