Look in your registry under the key indicated at this link to see: http://insideoe.com/faqs/how.htm#slideshow
Also disable any scanning of incoming email by your antivirus program and see if that fixes it. You will remain protected since your AV program will warn if you attempt to open or save an infected file.

Thanks Jim for the reply. I haven't used the slide show feature since Win98 .. I do not think that is my problem. Could it be one of the latest security patches from MS causing these script error messages? The patches are the only thing that I have installed lately.
