Hi,
Assuming Windows XP and IE6...
Is Internet Explorer the default browser? Check that at Control Panel> Add
or remove programs> Set program access and defaults.
Next see "If nothing happens" at http://www.fjsmjs.com/OE/nolinks.htm
IE settings:
I don't know of an all-in-one site. For security settings, I like
http://mvps.org/winhelp2002/unwanted.htm
Browse all pages listed in the top selection box.
Also excellent: http://inetexplorer.mvps.org/darnit.html
This link lets you search the Microsoft Knowledge Base for IE6:
http://support.microsoft.com/search/?adv=1&spid=2073
Google groups (IE6)
http://groups.google.com/group/microsoft.public.windows.inetexplorer.ie6.browser/topics
Use the "Search this group" button.
Hope this helps,
Don

Hello,websites
1. this is not the same thread as Feb. 4
2. I will look at answers and reply to questions
3. now my problem:
I have placed some URLs in the trusted websites list. If I click on a link
to one of those in an email or a website that is not in the trusted
list the link doesn't work, nothing happens.would
How do I have to change settings for this to work.
And more general: Is there a document or website that explains the setting
that are possible in IE in more details? Just some lines on each item
be enough, may be some examples for each that name what will work or not
work when this one is enabled / disabled.
Thank you for any help
Martin
