Assuming Windows XP and IE6...
Is Internet Explorer the default browser? Check that at Control Panel> Add
or remove programs> Set program access and defaults.

I don't know of an all-in-one site. For security settings, I like

I have placed some URLs in the trusted websites list. If I click on a link
to one of those in an email or a website that is not in the trusted

list the link doesn't work, nothing happens.
How do I have to change settings for this to work.
And more general: Is there a document or website that explains the setting
that are possible in IE in more details? Just some lines on each item
would
be enough, may be some examples for each that name what will work or not
work when this one is enabled / disabled.
