Thanks. I never use the F11 key so I guess I do
have a maleware problem. What program can
get ride of maleware if any?
Also, I gather from your reply that web sites should
not be able to check or uncheck any taskbar properties?

How can I stop web pages from hiding my taskbar?
I have the "Keep the taskbar on top of other windows"
box checked in the taskbar properties, but some web
pages are somehow able to uncheck this box and hide
my taskbar anyway.
It seems to only happen when a web page is viewed in full screen.
Viewing a web page while F11 is pressed, full screen mode, is probably
what you're talking about...Place the pointer over the taskbar area to
make it appear. This is normal when F11 key is pressed. Press it again to
toggle.
If some web pages are actually "able to uncheck this box and hide my
taskbar anyway", then you have a malware problem...a serious one.
