Don this is not the best group, there are some specific to Outlook, and I
don't use outlook much so don't know all the options, but have you checked
under tools>options>security tab to see if it's set to automatically
download pictures etc? Also there you should find a "Zone" setting and I
would recommend the Restricted Zone always. Setting Restricted may help with
your specific problem but I just don't know for sure.
I feel sure if you locate the outlook newsgroup someone will have an instant
answer though. I recommend using Outlook Express for newsgroups rather than
the awful web thing. Makes it much easier because you can search for clues
quickly before even asking a question, and for something as complex as
Outlook it could be useful in future.

Win XP Home + SP2, IE6, Outlook 2003
If my MS Outlook's Inbox contains e-mails which themselves contain links

web sites, Internet Explorer opens immediately I open Outlook and a web
log
on is established.
Assuming IE is receiving a command to log on as a result of the above, how
do I configure IE to ignore this?
Any suggestions to stop this happening would be most welcome.
