Mike Burgess has an INF file that can help.
See section "To remove all the sites listed in the Restricted Zone"
http://www.mvps.org/winhelp2002/restricted.htm
[Excerpted]
Note: This will remove all entries in the "Trusted Zone" and "Ranges" also.
DelDomains was revised (01-16-05) to include the "Enhanced Security
Configuration Zones" as some of these newer infections are targeting the
"Enhanced" Zone.

I have a number of wildcard restricted sites in this folder starting *..
which I cannot remove. All others in this folder can be removed using
the
remove tab. Any ideas about how to clear this log
Who put them there? If it was an administrator ask that person.
If it was a security tool, undo it with the security tool. Etc.
--- thanks.
I have administrator rights. I did not put them there. Am I right to assume
from the above that software like spybot and mcfee that i am running can
install these for security reasons. If yes , is there a way of removing them
if I wanted to as they cannot be removed with the remove tab and I cannot
see a way to do it through these programs.
thanks
dave
