Hello Don,
Let me explain a little more about this problem. Personally, I keep
my PCs clean, but this particular problem actually happened to my
next door neighbors PC, who has couple of kids, and they play
with PC all days. They are on DSL. My neighbor called me this
morning and showed me what is happening.
I have tried the following: Just copied the url address to 'Start',
'Run' & pasted http://abcnews.go.com then click 'OK'
to execute, but it would not execute. I tried copying the address
or just typing the url using keyboard keys, it does not execute.
So you can see it is a real problem. I have tried both of your
suggestions (1 & 2), but no use.
Is there any easy way to re-install only the Internet Explorer 6 in
XP Pro? I am trying to avoid the entire re-installing of the XP Pro
operating system. Thank you for your suggestions.
