Hi,
Just tossing out a possibility. I also save a number of pages as MHT files.
Open an IE window and select File> Work Offline. Resize windows so that the
IE window and the folder containing the MHT file are on the desktop at the
same time. Drag the MHT file to the IE window. Does that open the saved
version of the page?
