Hi Don,
Thanks for you help and links on this matter.
I eventually got the Java download, I had to disable Norton Internet
security 2002 to get the download....but still had the problem.
After Following all the AOL instructions to rectify the problem, I found
them unsuccessful. Eventually it was suggested I Uninstall / Reinstall the
AOL software.
I still get the ActiveX error message.....but all the links on the page work
now and in the Easy Designer web page creator, the buttons work, although the
labels on them don't show.....they are identified by yellow text boxes that
appear when the mouse is over them...and they do the job.
I have come to accept this as I think the whole arrangement is flawed in
some way.
