After installing the XP SP2 update, my internet explorer crashed everytime I
went to use it. I figured I would check the website for updates and found the
IE6 SP1 update. I wasn't sure if I already had the update so I downloaded it
again and attempted to install it. Everytime I went to install the IE6 SP1
upgrade I received this message "A previous installation has pending work
requiring a reboot. You need to restart your computer to complete that
installation before running Internet Explorer Setup. Setup will now close."
Any thoughts or ideas on why this would be happening. I also uninstalled IE
to see if that would fix the error, but unfortunately it remains. Thanks for
the help.
