I haven't seen any problems with IE6SP1...I put all my clients' workstations
on it a long time ago.

Unfortunately, I don't believe you can download the entire installation
files - the link you see on the downloads page is a tiny (400k??) file that
launches setup & downloads the rest from the Internet. I don't know that it
would take hours on dialup, but an hour is entirely possible.
