I uninstalled it through the add/remove programs not the uninstall windows
components. I did not uncheck that box at all. If I uninstall it through the
add remove programs options I used to get a repair option. I didn't get the
option this time. It simply uninstalled it. I then went to the windows
Internet Explorer site, and clicked on the link for IE6. I downloaded it and
installed it, but it was the ie6 sp1. Is that still the interent explorer
program? I tried checking and unchecking that box without applying, and
wasn't even able to get at the details button.
