See if this works:
instead of opening ie, open an ordinary folder, such as
c:\windows\desktop\moneylaundering\
and type the url in the file line at the top.
If I do that, it works, while ie6 itself doesnt.
Links that open another window don't work from there though,
presumably because they directly open ie6.
There must be somewhere, a site or book, that really gets to the
bottom of ie6!
