I know I posted this elsewhere, but I hadn't seen this
forum yet (I apologize), but could I please get some help?
I recently formatted my computer, and the first time I
formatted, none of the "Go" and "Search" buttons,
or "Review and install updates" link would work. Then, I
formatted it again, and this time, they do work. Now, I'm
using Windows Update to download ie6setup. I can download
it fine, but I keep running into these errors when I'm
trying to install it:
ACMSETUP caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown>
at 0000:00000003.
IE6WZD caused an invalid page fault in module <unknown> at
0000:00000003.
For the ACMSETUP error, I tried the first and the last
methods stated on the support page from Microsoft. I
didn't try the second method because I don't have:
Mdac_ie5.cab file located in the I386\En\Ie5 folder on the
Internet Explorer 5 CD.
Before I formatted my computer, I could use IE6sp1. Now, I
can't. Anyone have any suggestions that I could try,
please?
