IE history & (?) autocomplete

A friend is leaving his job and doesn't want the next owner of his pc
either seeing the history of webpages he's been to, or (is this the
same thing?) them appearing as autocompleted addresses.
Unfortunately I don't know how to clear these lists, can someone tell
me please?
