Probably not, if you saved them on the mail server.

Go to Tools > Accounts > Mail (tab) > Properties (button) > Advanced (tab)
Now check your Delivery Settings at the bottom of the dialog box.

Note: You will lose anything you saved in your personal folders. For example
if you added a folder named "Family Photos" where you saved e-mail with JPG
attachments, it will be lost.

Or you could run System File Checker first to see if it repairs any bad
system files for OE.

1) Insert your WinXP installation CD

2) Then go to Start > Run and type
sfc /scannow
click OK
