Downloading All Newsgroup Headers

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Outlook Express seems to have a 1000 header limit for downloading newsgroup
headers.

Is there a registry hack or something to either increase this number, or to
allow the download of all headers?
