Re: how can i stop windows from blocking "harmful" messages???

If you haven't found the solution yet, it's probably in Tools > Options >

I know its probably easy but can't find it. It says it is blocking
things that could be harmful to my computer. This one today is a .wmv
file that I sent to myself from work. I have to send it to one of my
kids pc's here and it opens withoput a hitch. Any help would be
appreciated!

Thanks

Are you sure it's OE that's blocking them, and not a firewall or antivirus
software? For example ZoneAlarm has a list of extensions which it will
block unless you request otherwise - although IHTS wmv isn't one of them,
but wms (Windows Media Skin) is.
