explorer not responing

After getting the update to IE6.0 last week I'm getting a
message that explorer not responding this occures at any
time ie:- start up,playing a game and when serfing the net
I'm running windows ME with INtel 3,128 ram using DSL to
connect to the internet.
Is there any way that I can fined out why this is
happening has this only started after update.
