I began receiving unwanted ads through internet explorer
that would override my AOL. They continually caused my
system to lock up. I uninstalled Internet explorer 6 and
the system installed an earlier version. My intention was
to reinstall Explorer 6 and hopefully take care of the
problem. It will not let me reinstall because it says that
there is an application running and to reboot. Whin I do
this it says the same thing. Also the previous version
does not show up in my add/remove programs area. Help!
