What's the URL and who "switched it to HTTPS"? Can the HTTPS page be accessed on other machines (running IE6 or IE7)? Does this happen on the machine-in-question when attempting to access any HTTPS page?

Are you the owner of the PC running IE6 that's having the problem? What's the full Windows version of this machine (e.g., WinXP SP2; Win2K SP4)? What anti-virus application or security suite is installed and is the subscription current? What anti-spyware applications (other than Defender)? What third-party firewall (if any)? Is the machine fully patched at Windows Update?

Has a Norton or McAfee application ever been installed on this machine (e.g., a free-trial version that came preinstalled when you bought it)?
