Or post to the WinXP SP3 /Beta/ forum.
Personally, I'd format and reinstall Windows.

Thanks, I can't see SP3 in the Add/remove programs so don't think I can
uninstall it? Not sure how that could be?? I may have to speak with the
person who gave me the machine..
Thanks,

WinXP SP3 is still in beta. Either uninstall SP3 before attempting any
more diagnoses or seek support in this forum:

time
out of 5 when I start IE, it will crash. I have upgraded Flash to 9e,

that didn't solve anything and have now disabled it. Now 3 times out of

IE
crashes. I have set the home page to blank, so that it atleast starts
(the
home page was set to MSN and it crashed often). But it still can crash
on
the odd web page.
Help needed. I haven't checked which updates are on the machine - but I
think the core issue is SP3.
Any tips to diagnose and resolve.
Thanks,
Salik.
