PABear,
Thank you for getting back to me. I thought that would be an option,
but it does not show when I right click the icon. Thank you anyway.

Your only option would be to right-click on the shortcut | Open with |
Select IE.
<paste>
I am currently using Firefox as my primary browser, however, there are
few sites that I go to and they will only work with IE.
My question is, what can I do for these few sites so they will open
when I click on their desktop ICONS?
Currently I open them in Firefox and then copy and paste the URL into
IE.
