Re: Opening XLSM and DOCM files through I.E. 6.0

See this article for possible help:

How to Configure Internet Explorer to Open Office Documents in the
Appropriate Office Program Instead of in Internet Explorer
http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;[LN];162059

It's probably a File Types issue.

Hello,

We recently upgraded many of our Excel and Word files to Office 2007 that
were accessed through our local intranet. These files now require the
user
to save them somewhere before they are able to open them.

I have set the Security Level for Local intranet sites to Low and am still
unable to open XLSM and DOCM files. Is it possible to set I.E. 6.0 to
allow
me to open these types of files without having to save them somewhere
first?

Thanks,
Chris
