Hi Rob,

Thanks for your reply.

Yes we do have firewall in the company. However, the IE6.0 in XP pro
machines behind the firewall don't have this issue. It only happens to the
IE6.0 in 2000 pro PCs.

The error on page message appears in the status bar when the home page of
our Intranet loads.

The message is below:

Problems with this web page might prevent it from being displayed properly
or functioning properly. In the future, you can display this message by
double-clicking the warning icon displayed in the status bar.

Line: 663
Char: 1
Error: 'ContextInfo' is undefined
Code: 0
URL: http://vxsp/default.aspx

The details (Line, Char, Error and Code) above change when I browse other
pages in the Intranet.

That URL looks as if it is not on the Internet so why not ask whoever
supports it what is wrong?

BTW is that the first error? Use the Previous button on the message window
to be sure that you are looking at the first error. Otherwise this one may
just be a (less interesting) consequence of earlier problems.

In any case if the script is cached you can find it stored in the TIF
and drag it to an open Notepad window, then goto that line
(e.g. press Ctrl-g.) To open the TIF in an English version of IE
press Alt-T,O,Alt-S,V then change the View to Details,
sorted by Last Accessed, etc.

The version of the IE is 6.0.2800.1106 sp1. I'v
installed the latest javascript from Sun and also the MS javascript VM update
but still no luck to make it work.

Thanks

Hi Davidc,

Either your Hosts file or your firewall could be blocking a java script on
the page. When the error occurs, click on the error icon to display the
details. This will tell you what possibly is being blocked.

Please post back with the error message.

Regards.

I got some Windows 2000 Pro machines that runs IE 6.0 sp1. The "Error on
page" message displays everytime I am trying to access our Intranet (Share
Point Services). Also, the button in the intranet page doesn't respond
after
I click on it. Any tips will be appreciated. Thanks
