IE6: Cannot save link

I cannot save file from any Internet page (using right-click on the link and
"Save as..." dialogue).
Instead of "Save as..." dialogue I see my Desktop in Explorer window!
Other users (log-ins) on this computer do not have the trouble.
How it can be troubleshooted and restored to be in order?
