RE: Cannot Connect via Wireless

Nass,

Yes, when connected by ethernet cable, no difficulty using ie.

I did set windows configuration to auto (it was on manual)

Rebooted.

The network connection screen looks like this (link):

Where or how do I tell Windows to configure for me?

Thanks very much for your help.

When I connect my work laptop to my router via ethernet cable, I connect to

When not connected by cable, the laptop connects to the wireless signal

direction?

Thanks,

So when you are using the Ethernet cable you can use IE I presume, is that
right?.
So the problem not the browser, the prblem is the wireless dropping the
connection for some reason.
Click Start >> Control Panel >> Network and Internet Connections >> Network
connections.
On there right click your Wireless Connection and select properties.
On the properties select Let windows configure the Wireless and also be sure
to Turn the Windows Wireless zero Configuration to Auto.
To do that Open a run command and type in:
services.msc click [OK] and there turn the Zero configuration to Auto,
Reboot your computer and see if you can access the IE.
HTH.
Let us know.
