IF YOU TYPED THE PAGE ADDRESS IN THE ADDRESS BAR, MAKE SURE THAT IT IS
SPELLED CORRECTLY.
TO CHECK YOUR CONNECTION SETTINGS, CLICK THE TOOLS MENU, AND THEN CLICK

IF YOUR NETWORK ADMINISTRATOR HAS ENABLED IT, MICROSOFT WINDOWS CAN
EXAMINE YOUR NETWORK AND AUTOMATICALLY DISCOVER NETWORK CONNECTION

IF YOU ARE TRYING TO REACH A SECURE SITE, MAKE SURE YOUR SECURITY

It has been like it is for 4 days!
The same page comes up when I try & access gmail & yahoo email as
well.
This first started to occur after I moved & deleted some files. So
perhaps I've removed some files that I should not have?
Your feedback is appreciated.
Thanx in advance.

Hi George,
You may have corrupted or damaged winsock, try to repair the winsock and see
if that will help:
Before this Open a run command and type:
ipconfig /flushdns click [OK]
Then try these: Two ways to repair the winsock;
1- Open a run command and type in:
netsh winsock reset click [OK]
Reboot your machine and try to connect.
2- to download the winsock fixer from:
http://www.nasstec.co.uk/tools.html
Reboot your machine and try to connect.
But wich buzzling me why did you deleted the files, malwares infections or
just fancy having ago on the system ;-).
If still no joy try System Restore to an earlier date before the deletion of
took place.
HTH.
