It's been going on for more than a month now. It's strange because I can
access the sites fine from my roommates computer, but can't from my own
anymore.
Do a traceroute to the site from work. Do a traceroute to the same site from home. There will obviously be a difference in the first few hops as your company goes to a different provider than do you. Beyond the ISP from work and from home, are the routes different to that site? Could be a provider in one of those legs is screwed up, like in their routing tables (which are not dynamic to compensate for end-user failed connects). You could also try using a public proxy to which you connect your browser as the route from you to it is okay and the route from it to the target site is okay.
