Yeah I tried that. The strange thing is that it happens with google
too. It's got to be something local. I'll try spybot and adaware to see
if they find anything.

Hi Keith,
Delete the cookies for those sites and try again, or it could be a temporay
redirect.
www.monster.com takes me to a local selection page...Selecting a locale
takes me to another redirect page and finally the selected monster country
page... mmm no cookie was placed in my cache..
Heres a replacement url that will take you to the US site
http://www.monster.com/geo/siteselection.asp
mmm.. just takes you to the locale selection list...
Seems to be a problem with the navigation logic of the site.
Regards.

Any reason you guys know of that a user would type in "monster.com" in
the address bar and it would load "monster.com.sg"?
I've tried:
- checking the international settings in Windows
- clearing the cookies, temp files, browser history
- checking for any "suffix" in the registry (like the "prefix")
- checking the hosts and lmhosts file
- verifying the site works fine for me (even after visiting the .sg
site)
and I'm stumped. The same thing happens when he goes to google as well,
but not yahoo, MSN, microsoft, or any other site I can think of.
Spyware?
Thanks,
Keith
