Hi,
Go to the login page. Double-click in the username field. If the username is
in the drop-down autocomplete list, select it (put the pointer on it) and
hit the Delete key.
Or... Run Protected Storage PassView from
http://www.nirsoft.net/utils/pspv.html Delete any saved login information
connected with ebay.
Or (WindowsXP) Go to Control Panel> User Accounts> your username> Manage my
network passwords. If it's there, delete it.
Hope this helps,
Don

How do I delete a password saved through prompting? I have a couple of
websites that prompt for a user name/pass. I did not check to save the
login but it seems to have cached it anyway. Now the site passwords
have changed and I can't figure out how
to make the sites prompt again so I can change them in the dialogue
box. I haven't found any cookies associated with the sites.
I have tried the following with no luck:
Open IE, select tools, Internet Options, Content, Autocomplete.
From there you can Clear Forms and Clear PasswordsYou can also uncheck or check what items you want for autocomplete.
I also did Options | Security | Internet
(zone) | Authentication and set it to prompt for logins.
Any suggestions?
Thanks,
Brett
