When all else fails, HijackThis v1.99.1
(http://aumha.org/downloads/hijackthis.zip) is the preferred tool to use.
It will help you to both identify and remove any hijackware/spyware. **Post

If the procedures look too complex - and there is no shame in admitting this
isn't your cup of tea - take the machine to a local, reputable and
independent (i.e., not BigBoxStoreUSA) computer repair shop.

Every time I try to open IE6 on my computer, it immediately (within 1
second) has a window that pops up which says IE experienced a technical
error and shits down. It sends a report somewhere which refers me to
microsoft support page that says the error is of unknown source and
doesn't
suggest any fix. THe problem is anyway the IE isn't open long enough to go
to anywebite except my homepage for 1 second. Does my IE have a bug in it
and how can I fix it. I don't have yahoo tool bar installed per someone
else's post.

thanks.
