Re: Why IE closes when I click on certain links

Tech Tip: Click here to run a free scan for Windows Errors and optimize PC performance

The link wasn't intended to answer why it's happening: It illustrates some of the information we'd need to be able to assist you, including:

=> Windows verion(s) of the affected machines?

=> Are all machines fully up-to-date at Windows Update?

=> What, if any, updates were installed last week?

=> What, if any, system-wide other changes were made last week?

=> What are the certain links where your users see this behavior?

Otherwise, you may as well have posted, "Something's wrong. Fix it."

BTW, no one here represents Microsoft. We're all volunteers.

Please see this page http://dts-l.org/goodpost.htm then post back to this
thread with the information we'd need to be able to assist you properly.

I was wondering if anyone is having the same problem I'm having. It
started
last week. When one of our users click on certain links on the web the
browser closes. Other time it does not.

It's starting to happen more and more to other work station. I don't know
if
it was an update from last week. But I need to figure this out A.S.A.P
it's
slowing the users down from working.

Any kind of ideas would be great.
