Re: Internet email profile

Tech-Archive recommends: Speed Up your PC by fixing your registry

Thanks for trying to help me. Unfortunatly I am not that knowledgeable in
computerese. I tried the first suggestion and I had already done that
(making OE the default). When I typed in the string in "run", an error
message came up saying that it could not access that file and to check if I
typed it in correctly. I think that I am missing a path but do not know how
to fix that. I am a little afraid to fool with the registry.

up and asks for a profile. There are two choices. One my name and the
other Outlook express. I have tried both and get the same message both
times. " Couldn't read your Internet Email profiel. Please exit, delete
current profile and create new one" I have tried that and still nothing
works.

Help! I have tried everything that I can think of and can't fix this.
When I try to email a photo from "My pictures" I get a message saying "
couldn't read your Internet E-mail profile. Pleas exit , delete current
profile and create new one" I have done what I think it is asking and
still get this message. What's going on? It used to work. I think I
must have changed something when I put Office 2000 on and then
uninstalled it. Any ideas?
