Could you ask specifically about whether KB920214 and KB 922616 would be adversely affected by removing KB 921398?
My question is because those two were listed as being affected by removal of KB921398
I have not yet removed KB921398. KB920214 and KB 922616 are still installed.
I do not know EXACTLY what KB920214 and KB 922616 DO. Or even what KB921398 does (except for the incorrect error message.)

I really don't know if those other 2 KB patches are working properly.
They show as
installed [after uninstalling KB921398] & Windows Update shows them as
installed.
I talked to MS support several days ago about the KB921398 problem &
they
did not mention any side effects to removing KB921398.

updates WERE listed.
Problem - when I click on remove the KB, a warning that several listed
programs AND KB920214 and KB 922616 might not run properly. Do you want to
continue?
I clicked no until I get an explanation from you especially about the two
KBs not working properly.
