Re: Can't clear www.t-mobile.com from my Ctrl-O funtion in IE6

Update:

I used GLA's recommendation of http://www.585Soft.com/IEHistoryX.asp
and it seemed to have worked...but that was my last resort. Like I
mentioned, it's nothing serious I wanted to delete (just the
www.t-mobile.com) from my history which is impossible.

Now I've uninstalled the 585software because as I mentioned, I install
very little on my pc's, especially those for work purposes so I've
uninstalled it, removed it from registry, etc.

Thanks again for your help guys. If anyone knows why one particular
site address would get stuck in the Ctrl-O history, please let me know.

Regards,

Manpreet

Thanks guys, I really appreciate all the help. I don't mean to sound
sarcastic, but why do I need a 3rd party app to solve problems within
MS-IE? Isn't there some place, in some directory I can go to and
delete what ever is in there, even if it's in the registry (which It
isn't, I checked). I want to avoid having to install anything
extraneous on this pc. I know I may not have much choice in the end
but doesn't anyone from MS know of a way to go to some path and find
the culprit of this ONE piece of history stuck in the Ctrl-O window?
And what is it with t-mobile.com's site that only their cookie (or
whatever it is) is stuck in the pc. LIke I mentioned before, this
www.t-mobile.com is stuck in 3 pc's in my house...so it's something
particular with the way t-mobile.com enters my computer...

Anyway, I will try the downloads as a last option...not that I don't
appreciate the info, I really do, but there has to be some way to
navigate through Windows to remove that component rather than having to
go to a 3rd party source.

Anyone working at either MS or t-mobile.com know why this would happen?
Has anyone attempted to try it themselves? Clear all your history and
cookies, then Ctrl-O and go to www.t-mobile.com...then clear cookies
and history again...open Ctrl-O and see for yourself if the
www.t-mobile.com address is stuck inside your Ctrl-O window.

Hello!
Try IEHistoryX http://www.585Soft.com/IEHistoryX.asp
It allows you selectively delete history, cookie files, cache files and
also typed URLs and autocompletion forma data.
