Problem displaying mht - displays source instead

I have a number of web pages saved as mht that I can no longer
display. IE6, and Maxthon, which uses the IE6 engine, will only
display the source. They did display fine on this computer, and still
do on my laptop, but something has been changed on the desktop one
since I last viewed them a couple of months ago. Has anyone any idea
what might be amiss, or can even give me an indication where to start
looking for what might be wrong?
