Hi!
My computer was recently attacked by malaware and I'm trying to recover
after eliminating it.
When I boot up, no internet connection, I get a popup:
Web Page unavailable .... with the Connect / Stay Offline buttons
Clicking Stay Offline makes the page appear again.
And again and again.
When I finally log on to the net through my modem, and click on my IE 6.0
icon,
that's when this popup goes away, and stay away until I reboot again.
This occurs on all my user accounts both Admin and non Admin.
I have tried repairing Win XP Home -- no change.
MSFT website does not have a solution to this particular problem.
Any ideas?
Thanks.
Nick
